How To Choose A Business To Match Your ScheduleA friend tells you about a new business opportunity. Her eyes are filled with enthusiasm. She gushes how great the product is, how you can earn big money each month, how you're in on the ground floor of a major organization.

You sign up. But before you can make your first sale, you notice how little help the company gives you. It takes hours each week just to go to meetings and call prospects.  Since you're already working a full-time job and handling family responsibilities, you quickly learn you simply don't have time to work the business the way you need to.

Your plan to earn a good profit quickly turns into another costly lesson:  Make sure your schedule fits comfortably with the style of the company and its opportunity.

Before you sign up to work a new business, learn how much support the company will give you. Do they supply you with marketing materials? Do they handle customer orders without saddling you with mountains of paper work? These things will save you precious time each week.

Face-to-face meetings are an excellent way to sell your opportunity. Unfortunately, the are time consuming and often unproductive. If you get the wrong kinds of prospects in the room, you could walk away from several hours work without much to show for it.

Many people with limited time to work their business have discovered the efficiency of prospecting online. Some spend an hour three times a week in popular business chat rooms. When a prospect shows an interest in starting a business, the distributor sends them a personal email invitation to check out his web site.

This method lets you meet dozens of likely prospects in just a few minutes.  One man built his downline to over 1,000 within a few months using this method.

Autoresponders can email your information to prospects without you even knowing about it.  A web site registered with search engines can pull in hundreds, even thousands of prospects automatically.  Well-written web copy and a good opportunity can recruit business while you are at your regular job.

If your time is really limited, consider one of the companies that simply has you pass their toll free order and info number to friends, associates, and people you meet.  They take care of selling, order fulfillment, and collections.  You get a commission check at the end of the month.
